1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Hezron Eka Lattang ("we", "us"), the developer of the Meal7 mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, creating an account in, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the App.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the App or any part of it.
3. Accounts
You can browse the App, and buy coins or Premium, without signing in. An account is required to sync your content across devices. We recommend creating one before you buy: a purchase made without an account is kept on that device only, so you can lose access to it if you sign out, switch devices, or reinstall the App. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings inside the App. See Delete Account for what is removed.
4. Coins, Premium, and payments
Coins are a virtual item used to pay for AI features inside the App. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Premium unlocks additional features and is sold in two forms: a one-time Lifetime purchase, and Meal7 Premium (1 Year), an auto-renewing subscription that provides Premium for one year per period. The price of each is shown in the App at the time of purchase.
Payment for the subscription is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically for a further year unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage the subscription or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from the Premium screen in the App. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. The Lifetime purchase does not renew and is never charged again.
We may offer a free trial of Premium. The trial is granted by us rather than by the stores, does not require a payment method, and ends by itself without turning into a paid subscription. It is limited to one per account.
Premium follows the store account — your Apple ID or Google account — used to pay for it. You can move it to a different Meal7 account by signing in to that account and using Restore purchase in the App: Premium then applies to the account you are signed in to, and the account that previously held it returns to the free tier.
All purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Refunds are therefore handled by those stores under their own policies. We may change prices and the coin cost of features; changes apply to future purchases and future use, not to coins you already hold.
5. AI-generated content
Recipes, images, and nutrition figures in the App are generated by artificial intelligence based on the input you provide. They are suggestions, not professional advice.
You are responsible for what you cook and eat. Always check ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs, and follow safe food handling and cooking practices. Nutrition figures are estimates and are not medical or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional for health decisions.
Because the content is machine-generated, we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for any particular purpose.
6. Acceptable use and content standards
The App generates recipes from what you type, and recipes may appear to other users in Explore. You must not use the App to create, request, or share content that is:
- offensive, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory;
- sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise obscene;
- unsafe, including anything intended to harm a person or animal;
- illegal, or that infringes anyone else's rights;
- spam, or a deliberate attempt to abuse or mislead other users.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any recipe from inside the App, or by emailing support@mealseven.com. We review every report and act within 24 hours: content that breaks these standards is removed, and the account responsible for it is suspended or terminated.
You can also block other users from inside the App so that their content no longer appears to you.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create in the App. By making a recipe visible to other users, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display it inside the App for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep records to comply with the law.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you break these Terms, and in particular if you post objectionable content or abuse other users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. App Store terms
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Those stores are not responsible for the App or its content, and have no obligation to provide support for it. Your use of the App must also comply with the applicable store's terms of service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the App changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
